A small hotel argued room by room. Identity and the guest sequence, from the first message to the last door held open.
- Role
- Identity and guest experience direction
- Deliverables
- Identity, the guest sequence from first message to last door
- Outcome
- Thirty-two apartments in the diplomatic enclave, argued room by room
A guest’s first contact with the hotel is the message that arrives before they do. A small hotel cannot win on size, so it wins on sequence.
The identity came first, and then every step of it: the message, the threshold, the room, the last door held open on the way out. Thirty-two apartments in the Gulshan diplomatic enclave, a hanging garden on the roof, and a Monirul Islam painting over the lobby.
The story a guest tells afterward, somewhere else, was the brief.
