A Friend of Soul
A Baul-Jazz Fusion

What happens when a Baul fakir, a saxophone, and the soul's own undoing meet on a single unbroken drone?
This is a Bengali mystic, Baul-Sufi jazz piece built on one continuous pulse, bass drone, and khamak holding steady while dotara, esraj, and trumpet rise and fall around a weathered fakir baritone. The lyric moves through unconsciousness, lost direction, and the bondage of the soul toward the threshold of Shah Makhdum, half-prayer, half-surrender. A meditation on the pull that breaks you down until the dead rise and the living die.
A work of AI and mind.
